Nope. We’re a self-pay program, but we work with each woman on an affordable payment plan with a weekly rent system with resources available to assist financially if needed. Weekly rent is 125$ a week for our residents.
Our average stay is 9–12 months—but healing isn’t rushed here. You’ll grow at your own pace with support every step of the way. We offer an Aftercare Program with ongoing accountability and support while you work on transitioning towards your own place up to 18 months AFTER graduating. Many of our grads even become mentors to new residents—giving back what they’ve received.
Our program is supported through resident program fees, community donors, church partnerships, and fundraising events. We rely on monthly mission partners, one-time donors, and all practical donations. All contributions are tax deductible.
We believe prayer is one of the most powerful gifts you can offer. Cover our residents, staff, leadership, and mission in prayer as we continue serving women seeking freedom and restoration.
Your financial gifts help sustain our daily operations, support women in need, and strengthen the long-term stability of our home.
Donations of land, property, or buildings can expand our capacity and help us serve more women. Real estate gifts make a long-term impact on our mission and create lasting legacy opportunities.
Our residents are always in need of everyday essentials, including:
Items that help keep our home running smoothly:
We accept new or gently used:
Our residents love:
Gas cards, and running vehicles help women get to work, meetings, and appointments.
Mentoring, Bible study leading, helping with events, transportation assistance, and hands-on support are always appreciated.

As winter comes, The Gift House could use your help. The amount of women that will come through our program in the colder months will skyrocket. On top of that? Our bills go up this time of year — heat, groceries, gas — just as with everything else.
So, we’re looking for a few " Women's Winter Monthly Mission" partners who believe in what we’re doing: helping women in recovery build new lives through faith and structure.
Even the smallest amount a month makes a real difference.
Would you be willing to commit?
If you’d like to help or are interested in hearing more, please reach out. We'd love to set up a time to come talk and share about what God is doing in our little corner of Breckinridge County.

The Gift House is a nonprofit recovery program and has been operational since 2018, providing safe, faith-based housing and structured support for women rebuilding their lives. One of our greatest strengths is the leadership of our former senior residents, many of whom have graduated our program and now serve on our Board of Directors. Their lived experience and long-term commitment help ensure that our mission remains authentic, effective, and deeply aligned with the needs of the women we serve.
We love our community, so feel free to visit during normal business hours. Give us a follow on our Facebook to stay up to date with all the new happenings at the Gift House. Link Below.
